JOB DESCRIPTION:

At Oolio, QA Leads are quality champions and systems thinkers first. You will own the end-to-end quality strategy across multiple PODs, ensuring our SaaS platforms meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and scalability.

You will operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Dev Ops, and Business — driving structured QA processes while remaining deeply hands-on. As the single point of ownership for quality within your scope, you will ensure seamless execution across modules, proactively identify risks, and build scalable testing frameworks that evolve alongside product growth.

This is a leadership role with strong hands-on depth — ideal for someone who can define strategy, execute rigorously, and elevate QA maturity across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own end-to-end quality across assigned PODs — acting as the primary QA point of contact for stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop deep product understanding across modules and workflows, especially within SaaS and POS environments.
- Design, implement, and scale automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Actively contribute to manual and automated testing efforts across functional, regression, integration, and release cycles.
- Identify risks prior to release and collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate them.
- Continuously optimize QA processes to increase test throughput and improve product delivery timelines.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Monitor the software development lifecycle to ensure quality gates and standards are consistently met.
- Mentor automation QA engineers and drive consistency in testing standards and execution practices.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams.

B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E/MCA/M.S

Technology Stack:

- Automation:
Playwright / Appium / Selenium / Cypress, API Automation – REST Assured / Postman Collections, BDD – Cucumber
- Manual & Exploratory Testing:
Test case design, scenario-based validation, UAT support, regression planning, release sign-off ownership
- API Testing:
Postman / Swagger / Contract Testing
- Performance Testing: JMeter / k6
- Mobile Testing: iOS & Android validation (real devices + emulators)
- CI/CD Integration:
Jenkins / Git Hub Actions / Git Lab CI
- Database Validation: SQL (MySQL / Postgre

SQL)
- Cloud & Infra Awareness: AWS environments, Docker, Kubernetes exposure
- Web Fundamentals (Good to Have): HTML, CSS, JavaScript understanding

OTHER REQUIREMENT:

Domain Expertise:

- Experience in Fintech or Payments systems is highly preferred.
- Experience testing handheld embedded POS devices, restaurant systems, or multi-location SaaS platforms is a plus.
