What You’ll Do
UX Pre-Sales & Deal Leadership
- Lead the full UX pre-sales lifecycle across opportunity qualification, discovery, solutioning, proposals, SOWs, and executive-level pitches
- Partner with Sales early in the pursuit to shape deal strategy, qualify opportunities, and position UX as a strategic growth lever
- Own UX deal shaping for enterprise pursuits, ensuring clarity across scope, delivery approach, staffing models, and success metrics
Solutioning & Offering Design
- Design and articulate scalable UX engagement models across user research, experience strategy, service design, design operations, accessibility, and emerging-technology UX
- Translate complex client challenges into outcome-driven UX programs aligned to business objectives and enterprise delivery realities
- Partner with UX leadership to evolve differentiated UX offerings, frameworks, and transformation narratives
Commercial Structuring & Deal Governance
- Structure and optimize commercials across fixed-price, time-and-materials, retainer, and outcome-based engagement models
- Maintain margin discipline through clear assumptions, scope boundaries, and risk identification during pre-sales
- Establish deal governance practices that enable predictable delivery and smooth transition from pre-sales to execution
Executive Engagement & Storytelling
- Lead executive storytelling through compelling proposals, POVs, pitch decks, case studies, and UX capability narratives
- Engage VP and C-level client stakeholders across Product, Design, Engineering, and Business as a trusted advisor
- Position UX consistently as a measurable, outcome-driven business investment
Sales Enablement & Practice Scale
- Build and maintain reusable pre-sales assets, offerings, and playbooks that improve proposal quality, speed, and consistency
- Enable Sales and UX leaders with clear deal narratives, standardized materials, and best practices
- Contribute to faster sales cycles and stronger win rates through clearer solutioning and repeatable approaches
What You Bring
- 6–10+ years in pre-sales, solution consulting, preference design / creative consulting
- Proven experience shaping and supporting $100K to multi-million-dollar UX or digital transformation deals
- Strong understanding of end-to-end creative disciplines and enterprise delivery models
- Executive-level storytelling, commercial structuring, and deal-shaping expertise
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
