Responsibilities:
Agile Delivery Leadership:
- Lead and facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint
- Planning, Backlog Grooming/Refinement, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Serve as the gatekeeper of Agile practices, coaching the team to uphold principles of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain Jira hygiene — ensuring all stories, tasks, and sub-tasks accurately reflect their status, have well-defined acceptance criteria, and are updated in real time.
- Ensure story points are estimated consistently using best practices defined by the Agile Coach.
- Monitor and analyze key Agile metrics such as burn-down, burn-up, velocity, and sprint reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Manage dependencies across Scrum teams — ensuring they are clearly linked, communicated, and tracked to resolution.
- Prevent scope creep by managing new or unplanned work and effectively pushing back on non-emergency scope changes.
- Support capacity planning to ensure balanced workload and sustainable team pace.
- Act as an aspirational Agile Coach, mentoring the team on swarming, limiting WIP, and fostering high-performing behaviours.
Technical Program Management
- Maintain a clear understanding of the end-to-end solution architecture and how each team’s deliverables align with overall business outcomes.
- Connect the dots across multiple layers (Front-end, Middleware, Backend) to ensure technical alignment and integration.
- Proactively identify, raise, and mitigate risks and issues affecting delivery timelines or quality.
- Facilitate and, when necessary, escalate technical conversations to resolve bottlenecks in collaboration with Tech Leads and Architects.
- Drive process improvements across delivery practices, leveraging insights from retrospectives and performance metrics.
- Provide feedback and recommend enhancements to tools such as Jira and to optimize workflow efficiency and visibility.
- Act as a delivery champion — ensuring work is completed on time, with high quality, and in alignment with product and architectural goals.
Requirements / Specifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or Technical Program
- Manager in a cross-functional product or engineering environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and related metrics.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and related Agile delivery tools (e.g., ).
- Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills; ability to coach teams toward high performance.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills — capable of synthesizing technical details and delivery progress for diverse stakeholders.
- Technical acumen sufficient to engage in solution-level discussions across the technology stack
