About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Security Enginner (Network) to join our IT team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in network administration and cybersecurity, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems
- Assist in implementing security measures and protocols to protect the organization's data and systems
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and respond to technical support requests
- Help maintain network documentation and system configurations
- Participate in security assessments and vulnerability scanning
- Assist in user account management and access control
- Monitor system performance and network traffic
- Help implement security patches and updates

Required Qualifications

- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Basic understanding of firewall configuration and security protocols
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Basic knowledge of scripting (Power Shell, Python, or Bash)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Experience with ticketing systems
