L&T Technology Services is seeking a Data Science AI/ML (Experience range - 5+ years) of experience, proficient in:

Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced  Data Scientist  with strong hands-on expertise in  Large Language Models (LLMs) ,  OCR technologies , and  machine learning  to design, develop, and deploy intelligent document-processing and language-understanding solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and fine-tune  LLM-based models  for NLP tasks such as text extraction, summarization, classification, and conversational AI.
Build robust  OCR pipelines  using tools like Tesseract, AWS Textract, Azure OCR, or Google Vision to digitize and structure unstructured data.
Design end-to-end  document understanding systems  combining OCR, NLP, and machine learning.
Perform  data preprocessing, feature engineering , and model performance optimization.
Evaluate and implement modern AI frameworks (Transformers, Lang Chain, Hugging Face, etc.).
Collaborate with engineering teams to  deploy models into production  and ensure scalability.
Conduct  research and experimentation  on emerging LLM and vision-language technologies.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
5–7 years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with  LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Claude, Falcon, etc.)  and model fine‑tuning.
Proficiency with  OCR frameworks  and computer vision libraries (OpenCV, Tesseract, Paddle

OCR, etc.).
Solid understanding of  deep learning  using PyTorch or Tensor Flow.

Experience with  NLP pipelines , vector databases, prompt engineering, and RAG systems.
Strong coding skills in  Python  and familiarity with ML Ops tools.
Experience deploying ML models on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
