This is a senior, customer-facing leadership role requiring strong field sales experience in India and deep familiarity with Microsoft’s partner and field sales ecosystem.
The role will own executive relationships with Microsoft PDMs, Partner Success (PSS), CSA/ATS teams, and field sellers, while actively participating in field sales execution to drive co-sell pipeline, joint GTM motions, and revenue growth.
The primary objective is to position the organization as a preferred Microsoft partner in India.
Key Responsibilities
Own and strengthen executive relationships with Microsoft India PDMs, Partner Success teams, and field sales leadership.
Collaborate closely with Microsoft field sellers across Enterprise, Strategic, and SMB/MM segments.
Actively participate in field sales motions including customer meetings, opportunity shaping, solution positioning, and late-stage deal closures.
Drive co-sell pipeline creation and revenue growth across Enterprise, GCCs, and Mid-Market customers.
Define and execute an India-focused Microsoft GTM strategy aligned to:
Azure Migration & Modernization
Data & AI
Security
Modern Work & Copilot
Build and scale India-specific GTM plays and joint demand generation programs.
Drive Solutions Partner designations, advanced specializations, evidence submissions, and marketplace offers.
Act as the single owner of the Microsoft India alliance by coordinating Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Marketing, and Partner Operations teams.
Required Experience
12+ years of experience in field sales, alliances, partner management, or GTM leadership within IT services.
Strong field sales experience in India across enterprise and mid-market segments.
Proven engagement and relationship management with Microsoft India partner and field sales teams.
Demonstrated success in driving co-sell pipeline, deal closures, and revenue growth.
Experience working within a Microsoft Solutions Partner organization.
Strong background in Azure, Security, Data & AI, Modern Work, or Managed Services.
Exposure to GCC-led transformation programs.
Experience with Microsoft co-sell reporting, CRM systems, and partner governance frameworks.
Nice to Have
Ex-Microsoft (Partner Development, PSS, Azure, or Industry Sales).
Experience with a System Integrator (SI) or global services firm owning Microsoft-led GTM.
Prior experience as a field seller or sales leader closing enterprise cloud deals in India.
Existing relationships with Microsoft India PDMs and field sellers.
