Azure Data Engineer

Minimum Qualifications
- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

• Overall 9-10 years experience

• Latest 2-3 years of playing Azure technical lead roles to drive technical Design and Architecture solutions, Work with Business on requirement understanding, Implement Standards to meet business demands and challenges.

• latest 3 years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including Azure Event Hub , Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks,  Azure Dev Ops, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps and Power BI.

• 3 years data analytics experience using SQL

• Combination of Development, Administration & Support experience in several of the following tools/platforms required:

• Scripting:
Pyspark, Python, Spark, Unix, SQL

• Data Platforms:
Teradata, SQL, ADLS, Cassandra, Mongo

DB, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer. Administration skills a plus

• CI/CD:
Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Jenkins, Terraform

• Clear understanding on Data Warehousing concepts

• Data Governance and Privacy:
Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID

• Orchestration:
Azure Data Factory, Tivoli

• Experience in designing solutions for Real time and Batch processing jobs

• Experience in performance tuning / Code Optimization
