About the Role
We are seeking an experienced  Program Manager  with a strong  Banking/Fintech (BFSI)  background to lead large-scale technology transformation and digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex technology development programs, financial oversight, and global delivery teams (onshore and offshore).
This role requires strong leadership, governance, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and Agile delivery expertise to ensure successful execution of enterprise technology programs.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Portfolio Management
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology programs within  Banking/Fintech domains  (Retail Banking, Payments, Lending, Digital Banking, Risk, Compliance, etc.).
Define program roadmap, scope, milestones, and delivery strategies aligned with business objectives.
Manage multiple concurrent projects under a unified program governance structure.
Ensure alignment between business, technology, compliance, and operations teams.
Technology & Delivery Oversight
Manage full lifecycle of technology development projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Drive implementation using  Agile methodology , ensuring delivery via MVP (Minimum Viable Product) approach.
Oversee architecture discussions, solution design approvals, and integration planning.
Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and compliance requirements within BFSI domain.
Financial & Budget Management
Own program budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Track program financials including CAPEX/OPEX management.
Provide periodic financial reporting and variance analysis to senior leadership.
Ensure ROI realization and cost governance across initiatives.
Global Team Management
Manage and coordinate  onshore and offshore development teams .
Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Dev Ops, Product, and Infrastructure.
Establish performance metrics and KPIs for delivery excellence.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
Act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders.
Conduct steering committee meetings and executive-level reporting.
Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks applicable to Banking/Fintech systems.
Risk & Compliance Management
Identify program risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure alignment with BFSI regulatory standards (RBI, PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, etc., where applicable).
Maintain program documentation, audit readiness, and governance controls.

Skills & Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of overall experience in IT with significant experience in  Program/Project Management .
Proven experience in managing  technology development initiatives within BFSI (Banking/Fintech) .
Demonstrated experience handling large, complex enterprise programs.
Experience managing geographically distributed (onshore/offshore) teams.
Methodology & Tools
Strong experience implementing  Agile methodology  and MVP-driven delivery models.
Hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Project  (planning & tracking)
Microsoft Excel  (financial tracking & reporting)
Microsoft Visio  (process flows & architecture diagrams)
Microsoft PowerPoint  (executive reporting)
Microsoft Word  (documentation & governance artifacts)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in digital transformation initiatives within Banking/Fintech.
PMP / PgMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, etc.) preferred.
Exposure to cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in financial services.
Experience in regulatory and compliance-driven environments.
