ServiceNow UI Developer; UI Builder

Position: ServiceNow UI Developer (UI Builder)
Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Service Now UI Developer with strong expertise in UI Builder to design and develop modern, user-centric interfaces on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building custom portals, work spaces, and widgets, integrating front-end components with Service Now data models and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom UI experiences using Service Now UI Builder, Service Portal, and Now Experience Framework.
Work closely with Service Now architects and back-end developers to integrate UI components with Service Now data and workflows.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Ensure UI performance optimization, accessibility, and adherence to design best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related defects or performance issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Service Now releases, UI Builder enhancements, and front-end development trends.
Required Skills &

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in Service Now development with focus on UI/UX customization.
Proven experience working with Service Now UI Builder and Work spaces.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.

Experience with Service Now APIs, Glide Ajax, and server-client data integration.
Familiarity with Service Portal, Catalog UI Policies, and Widgets.
Understanding of Service Now architecture and data model.

Experience with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Experience with Service Now Next Experience UI (Polaris).
Knowledge of Service Now ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules.
Exposure to REST API integrations and Service Now Flow Designer.
