Product Manager – Monetization

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own and drive the end-to-end lifecycle of our monetisation systems, including our order management system, payment journeys. flows for renewals, referrals, and upgrades.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of payment flows, e-commerce transactions, referral programs, and subscription renewals , with a data-driven and user-centric approach to solving problems. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, finance, and customer support teams to enhance system capabilities and improve conversion rates.
Role Overview :
Drive end-to-end monetisation strategy by improving revenue funnels—focusing on self-checkout, payment gateway flows, and order management systems to convert freemium users into paying customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end monetization journey: trial → upgrade → payment → confirmation → order management.
Build pricing strategies, discount rules, and bundling options by working with category and business teams.
Launch and optimize checkout flows, including support for different user segments by deep diving into user behavior data to understand drop-offs, abandonment, and intent patterns.
Run A/B experiments to improve metrics like checkout success rate, conversion %, and time to purchase.
Own the design of Order Management System (OMS) — integration of new payment methods, refund flow, serviceability logics, track and address payment failures etc.
Drive cross-sell and upsell features, and dynamic pricing.
Lead sprint planning, product reviews, and post-mortems in collaboration with engineering and design.
Collaborate with sales, lead generation and engineering to enhance conversion rates.
Work closely with data teams to define, track, and take action on key metrics of success.
Qualifications & Skills:
4–6 years of product management experience with at least 2+ years in monetisation or checkout systems.
Engineering background from the top 100 engineering colleges of India
Proven track record in increasing revenue or conversion rates.
Strong understanding of payment gateways, payment journey and subscription models.
Data-driven mindset with a strong hold over numbers (SQL, Data analytics tools).
Prior experience in EdTech, Fin Tech, or eCommerce is a plus.
Please note that this role is purely Work From Office (WFO), and it follows a 5.5-day working model with alternate Saturdays as working days.
