Job Summary:

The Senior SAP S/4

HANA Security & GRC Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of SAP security and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions across SAP S/4 HANA and integrated SAP landscapes. This role ensures secure system access, segregation of duties (SoD) compliance, and alignment with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
The individual will work closely with SAP functional teams, Basis, audit, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable SAP solutions while supporting business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Security Administration:
Design, implement, and maintain SAP S/4

HANA security roles and authorizations aligned with business requirements and security best practices.
Perform end to end user lifecycle management (provisioning, modification, termination) across SAP systems.
Develop and maintain role design standards, naming conventions, and documentation.
Support SAP transports related to security roles and authorization changes.
Troubleshoot and resolve authorization issues across S/4 HANA, ECC, and connected systems.

SAP GRC (Access Control):
Configure and support SAP GRC Access Control modules, including:
Access Risk Analysis (ARA).
Access Request Management (ARM).
Emergency Access Management (EAM / Firefighter).
Perform SoD analysis and remediation for roles and users.
Design and maintain mitigating controls in coordination with audit and compliance teams.
Support periodic access reviews and certifications.

Compliance, Audit & Controls:
Ensure SAP security and GRC controls align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, internal audit standards).
Act as a key point of contact for internal auditors for SAP security and access-related inquiries.
Provide audit evidence, reports, and remediation plans as required.
Continuously assess security risks and recommend improvements.

Integration & Advanced Security:
Manage Fiori security concepts, including catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, and OData authorizations.
Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4

HANA transformation projects from a security and GRC perspective.

Collaboration & Leadership:
Partner with SAP functional, Basis, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver secure solutions.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior SAP security team members.
Contribute to security strategy, roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Create and maintain security documentation, procedures, and training materials.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and GRC administration.
Strong experience with SAP S/4

HANA security concepts and role design.
Proven expertise in SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, EAM).
Solid understanding of SAP authorization objects and security architecture.
Experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred / Nice to Have

Qualifications:

Experience with SAP Fiori security and UI authorizations.

Experience with SAP cloud solutions (BTP, SAC, Service Now, SailPoint) security.
SAP Security or GRC certifications.
Experience in large, complex SAP landscapes.
