Summary
We are looking for Google Sec Ops Engineers with hands-on experience in SIEM engineering, log onboarding, parser configuration, and platform support activities. The role primarily focuses on engineering, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, and platform administration activities within Google Sec Ops (Chronicle) and does not involve SOC alert monitoring or incident response operations.

Responsibilities & Skills
Onboard and integrate log sources into Google Sec Ops
Configure and troubleshoot parsers, collectors, and ingestion pipelines
Support UDM mapping and normalization activities
Monitor log ingestion and resolve parsing/integration issues
Create and maintain dashboards and reports
Assist in detection rule configuration and tuning
Support API-based integrations and automation workflows
Perform platform health checks and optimization activities
Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding and troubleshooting
Support migration activities from legacy SIEM platforms
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, HLD/LLD
Coordinate with OEM/vendor support teams for issue resolution
Basic to intermediate hands-on experience with Google Sec Ops / Chronicle SIEM
Understanding of:
SIEM concepts
Syslog and log management
Windows/Linux logs
Firewall/WAF logs
Cloud security logs
Knowledge of:
Parser configuration
UDM mapping
Log normalization
API integrations
Familiarity with networking and cybersecurity fundamentals
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
