What You'll Do
Build and maintain JMeter-based performance and load test frameworks for enterprise insurance platforms.
Develop automation scripts in Python and/or JavaScript for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Integrate test suites into AWS-native CI/CD pipelines (Code Pipeline, Code Build) and release workflows.
Analyze results, surface defects, and champion quality across all phases of an Agile delivery cycle.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members across multiple time zones.
Basic Qualifications
4–5 years of recent, hands-on test automation experience in enterprise environments.
Strong JMeter proficiency — parameterized test plans, thread group design, and results analysis.
Solid Python and/or JavaScript skills for scripting, data manipulation, and framework utilities.
Performance testing fundamentals: throughput analysis, response time baselining, bottleneck identification.
API testing experience (REST/SOAP) — functional and performance validation of request/response payloads.
Hands-on AWS experience — S3, Lambda, Cloud Watch, EC2, or ECS in a test or application context.
Familiarity with AWS CI/CD tooling and working in fully AWS-hosted environments.
Experience with Jira or similar tools for defect tracking, test management, and reporting.
Strong QA fundamentals: test strategy, test design, defect lifecycle, and quality metrics.
Clear communicator — able to convey findings and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong Pluses
Guidewire platform experience (Policy Center, Billing Center, or Claim Center) — weighted heavily.
Blaze Meter or AWS-based load testing elQ or similar object-driven automation framework, ideally in a Guidewire context.
Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) or cloud migration testing.
BDD/Gherkin (Cucumber, Behave) and writing business-readable acceptance criteria.
SQL skills for database-level validation and data integrity checks.
