Business Objects Administration
Location:
Hyderabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune.
Experience:
8-15 years

Experience as a Business Objects Administrator or in a similar role managing SAP Business Objects environments, particularly for large-scale implementations.
Managing Business Objects Servers:
Setting up, configuring, and maintaining BO environments (including Web Application Servers, App Servers, and Database Servers).
System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Performance Tuning: Familiar with performance tuning, such as optimizing report load times, system resource management, and improving BO system performance.
System Monitoring:
Experience using tools like SAP Business Objects BI Platform Audit, logs, and diagnostic tools to monitor system health and usage.
Upgrades and Patch Management:
Hands-on experience upgrading Business Objects versions, applying patches, and ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Backup and Recovery:
Familiar with backup strategies for Business Objects environments and restoring data in case of system failures.
SAP Business Objects (BO) Administration:
Experience with SAP Business Objects Suite (e.g., BO XI 4.x, BI 4.x, or SAP Analytics Cloud).
Central Management Console (CMC):
Proficient in using CMC to manage security, reports, users, and services.
BI Launch Pad:
Knowledge of configuring and administering the BI Launch Pad (the user interface for accessing reports).
Report Management:
Expertise in managing and configuring reports, reports scheduling, and delivery.
Universe Design:
Experience with Universe Design Tool (UDT) or Information Design Tool (IDT) to create and manage universes.
Web Intelligence (Webi), Crystal Reports, and other BO reporting tools.
Database and Data Integration:
SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases, troubleshooting issues, and supporting report creation.
Database Administration:
Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
Data Warehousing and ETL: Understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL processes for integrating data into Business Objects.
Security and Permissions:
Security Setup: Experience setting up and maintaining user authentication, permissions, roles, and security at different levels (system, universe, report).
Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with SAP Business Objects
