Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and support , partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive financial transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support engagements
Configure and manage FI modules :
General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting
Configure and manage CO modules :
Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA
Gather and translate business requirements into SAP solutions
Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP/technical teams
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
Manage integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR)
Drive UAT, production support, incident resolution, and change management
Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit, and regulatory standards
Deliver user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Required
Skills & Qualifications
6–12 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO
Strong expertise in FI & CO configuration and business processes
Experience in at least 1–2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects
Strong understanding of financial accounting & controlling concepts
Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4
HANA Finance
Good knowledge of integration with MM & SD modules
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work in both project and support environments
Good to Have
Experience in S/4
HANA Finance (Simple Finance)
Exposure to GST, taxation, statutory reporting, and compliance
Experience in global/gcc/client-facing programs
SAP FICO Certification
