Marketing Technology Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Technology Specialist to own and scale our marketing technology stack across user acquisition,analytics, attribution and engagement. This role sits at the intersection of growth, engineering, analytics, and marketing, and will be responsible for building reliable, scalable systems that power paid growth and lifecycle communication will work closely with marketing, CRM, data, and engineering teams to ensure seamless data flow, high funnel efficiency, strong governance , and measurable business impact.
This is an individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of growth systems and marketing automation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Gen Stack & Event Governance
Enable seamless event tracking, conversion signals, and campaign measurement across Ad Platforms, CRM, and Marketing Automation tools.
Partner with growth teams to translate acquisition strategies into clear technical and product requirements.
Ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability of lead capture, CRM stages, re-engagement, and conversion events tracking.
Maintain clean event taxonomy, naming conventions, and standardized data structures.
Monitor tracking accuracy and proactively identify and fix data leaks.
Enable structured experimentation (Ex: A/B tests across marketing journeys ) with proper impact measurement.
2. Attribution, Tracking & Measurement
Validate lead sources, attribution logic, and data propagation across systems.
Partner with analytics to ensure dashboards reflect business truth.
Work closely with data teams to enable debugging, validation, and reporting for marketing performance.
3. Retention, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
Own integrations and roadmap for Marketing Automation tools to send communications across Push, Email, SMS, RCS, Whats App, In-App messaging.
Enable advanced segmentation, personalization, and trigger-based communication.
Support lifecycle use cases such as onboarding, activation, re-engagement, win-back, cross-sell, and upsell.
Ensure lead data hygiene, proper lead management, and lifecycle stage accuracy within CRM.
Implement suppression logic and frequency controls to prevent user fatigue.
Ensure marketing tools scale with high user volume and compliance requirements.
Evaluate and adopt new tools that drive growth, cost optimization, and efficiency.
4. SDKs, Integrations & Data Flow
Own SDK integration requirements for marketing and analytics tools across web and backend systems.
Ensure correct data flow from Web → Backend → CRM → Marketing Platforms → Analytics.
Maintain clear documentation of event pipelines, dependencies, ownership, and escalation processes.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background
4+ years of experience in Growth Operations, Marketing Automation, or Mar Tech roles.
Experience in EdTech, Consumer Tech, B2C or high-growth startups preferred.
Hands-on exposure to marketing technology for both acquisition and retention.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, CRM, analytics, and growth teams.
Core Skills & Knowledge
Strong understanding of ad platforms, CRM systems, and marketing analytics tools.
Solid grasp of marketing attribution models, tracking technologies, and privacy constraints.
Familiarity with tools such as GA4, GTM, Web Engage/MoEngage/Hub Spot (or similar).
Clear understanding of SDK integrations, APIs, and data pipelines.
Ability to translate marketing requirements into technical implementation plans.
Comfortable working with dashboards, performance metrics, and funnel analytics.
