Responsible for Deploy a highly experienced Server & Storage L3 Expert to design, manage, and optimize datacenter compute and storage infrastructure for ISP/TSP environments. The role ensures high availability, scalability, security, and performance of mission‑critical platforms and services

The Server & Storage L3 Expert will act as the Level‑3 escalation point for server, virtualization, and storage operations. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end ownership of datacenter infrastructure, technical leadership of L2/L1 teams, driving automation, and ensuring seamless integration with network and security domain
s.

ties
Datacenter Infrastructure Management:
Operate enterprise server and storage platforms; plan lifecycle upgrades and capacity expan
sion.
Server Administration:
Manage Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server; perform installation, patching, and performance tu
ning.
Virtualization & HCI:
Deploy/manage VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, KVM; oversee VM lifecycle; manage Hyperconverged Infrastructure (e.g., Cisco Hyper Flex, Nuta
nix).Storage Management:
Configure/manage SAN/NAS; perform LUN provisioning, RAID optimization, replication, and ba
ckup.
Clustering & HA/DR:
Design Active/Active and Active/Passive clusters; implement disaster recovery and failover solut
ions.
Application Hosting:
Support ISP/TSP applications (AAA, DHCP, DNS, OSS/BSS, CDNs,
CRM).Monitoring & Performance:
Implement tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Solar Winds); analyze KPIs for proactive resolu
tion.
Automation & Dev Ops:
Drive automation using Python, Power Shell, Ansible, Puppet, Terra
form.
Cloud & Hybrid Integration:
Manage AWS/Azure/GCP workloads; support hybrid cloud migra
tion.
Containerization:
Deploy Docker/Kubernetes clusters for modern workl
oads.
Security & Governance:
Ensure OS hardening, access control, compliance with ITIL proce
sses.
Leadership:
Mentor L2/L1 teams; define SOPs/MOPs; act as SPOC for escalat
ions.
Qualifi
cations
8–15 years in server/storage/datacenter operations (ISP/TSP pr
eferred).Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (CSE
/IT/ECE).
Certifications:
VMware (VCP/VCAP), Microsoft/Linux, Storage (Net App/Dell EMC), Cloud (AW
S/Azure).

Strong troubleshooting and analyt

escalations.
Leadership and mentoring
capability.
Excellent communication and documenta
tion skills.
Pre
ferred Skills
Experience with enterprise clustering an
d DR planning.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagio

Knowledge of automation tools such as Python, Shell, Power Shell, Ansib
le, Terraform.
Experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP, Docke
r, Kubernetes.
Understanding of security practices including OS hardening and Zero‑Tru
st principles.
Note:
Travel will be required for up to 90 days to t
he client site.
