About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IAM Data Engineer / Data Analyst to support the transformation of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization into a data-driven and automation-focused environment. This role combines data engineering, analytics, visualization, and automation expertise to build scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency, compliance, reporting, KPI tracking, and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, ETL processes, Splunk, and data automation, along with the ability to collaborate across IAM, Risk, Governance, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Alteryx to consolidate, cleanse, and transform data from multiple enterprise sources.
- Automate data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop robust workflows to ensure data consistency, quality, integrity, and security across IAM platforms.
- Build reusable and scalable data processing frameworks to support business growth and evolving IAM requirements.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, Alteryx workflows, and Tableau.
- Analyze IAM operational data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making, audits, compliance reviews, and governance initiatives.
- Establish data quality metrics and continuously improve reporting accuracy and reliability.
Dashboard Development & Visualization
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Create real-time monitoring solutions for IAM operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide executive-level dashboards that support visibility into access management, governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Enhance user experience through intuitive visualizations and actionable reporting.
Monitoring, Alerting & Operational Support
- Design and implement automated alerting and notification mechanisms.
- Integrate alerts with communication platforms such as:
- Microsoft Teams
- Slack
- Email Notifications
- Develop proactive monitoring solutions to identify data quality issues, process failures, and operational anomalies.
- Utilize Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, trend identification, and operational alerting.
IAM Data Governance & Compliance
- Support IAM governance, audit, and compliance programs through data-driven reporting and analytics.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Governance teams to improve controls and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure data management practices align with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audit requests through timely reporting and data validation.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Document data models, workflows, ETL processes, automation frameworks, and reporting solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation to support transparency, scalability, and operational continuity.
- Contribute to IAM roadmap initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
