Data & Information Architect – Finance

Our Client is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Data & Information Architect to drive data design, governance, and quality across global digital transformation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and well-integrated data solutions within a modern ERP landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Governance
- Design and govern master and transactional data models to support critical business processes.
- Establish robust data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance.
Master Data Management (MDM)
- Develop and implement best-in-class master and transactional data management processes.
- Ensure effective lifecycle management, including data creation, maintenance, and change control.
Deployment & Migration Support
- Support global ERP deployments, including localization, data cleansing, mapping, validation, and testing.
- Drive data harmonization across regions and business units.
Data Quality & Compliance
- Define and enforce data quality rules, standards, and controls to maintain reliable datasets.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
Integration & Collaboration
- Align and integrate data across systems and functional domains for seamless end-to-end processes.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to recommend optimal data solutions and best practices.
Standards, Reporting & Leadership
- Develop and document policies, SOPs, and internal controls for data management.
- Provide regular project updates, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives across teams.
Requirements
Domain Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data architecture, data governance, and master data management.
- Strong expertise in ERP platforms (preferably SAP S/4
HANA and data governance tools).
- Hands-on experience with global ERP deployments, data migration, and data harmonization.
- Understanding of finance processes and cross-functional data dependencies.
