Job Description & How to Apply Below
At Nxt Wave, placements are our strongest proof point.
About the Role
This role exists to make sure every placement gets captured, documented, and distributed, consistently, on time, across every channel. You're not writing captions or designing posts. You're running the machine that turns a placement into visible proof: coordinating with alumni, teams, and vendors, tracking everything in sheets, and making sure nothing slips.
Responsibilities
- Making every placement visible
- Track daily placement data and make sure it's complete before anything else begins
- Call placed alumni, have real conversations, document their journey and collect consent and photos
- Get a Linked In post live from the student's own profile within 3 to 4 days of the first call
- Plan testimonial video shoots, brief the video team, and make sure the final video goes live within 12 days
- Raise poster requests with the design team and hold them to a 2 to 3 day turnaround
- Publish placement content across the website, Linked In, Instagram, You Tube, Whats App communities, and performance media on a fixed calendar
- Share high-impact content with the Performance Marketing team before they have to ask for it
- Own the alumni community from the ground up
- Match placed alumni with prospective learners for trust-building calls, worked out with the Sales team
- Plan alumni meetups every 2 to 3 months and co-own the experience end to end
- Drive 2 to 3 genuine learner reviews every day across platforms
- Keep an eye on reputation. Flag negative reviews fast and coordinate responses
- Submit outcome reports every 15 days
- Keep process documentation updated so nothing lives only in your head
- Manage and support two CDAs who report to you
- Step in front of a camera when needed. You don't have to be a performer, just comfortable enough to represent the community
Qualifications
2 to 4 years in community management, marketing ops, or program coordination
Required Skills
- Strong Google Sheets and Excel skills. This isn't optional
- Good communication across the board, written, verbal, and on calls
- EdTech background is preferred
- Someone who can hold multiple parallel tracks without losing context
Preferred Skills
You think in checklists. If something's undocumented it bothers you more than it bothers other people. You can speak to an alumnus at one of the most significant moments in their career and make them feel like a person, not a task. You update trackers without being reminded. Sheets feel natural to you. You're coordinating with 6 to 7 teams at any given time.
You follow up early and flag blockers before they become problems. You understand how Instagram, Linked In, You Tube and Whats App communities work even if you're not the one creating content on them.
Pay range and compensation package
Type: 3 months probation + Full-time
Experience:
2 - 4 years
Equal Opportunity Statement
This is not a social media role. Not a placement counsellor role. Not a job where you wait to be told what to do. You own outcomes here. And you'll be visible doing it.
