We're looking for a Security Lead to drive a new global product protecting our enterprise environment, with a focus on Web Application and API Protection (WAAP).
This is a hands-on technical and migration role. You'll be the expert who reviews, validates, and challenges our security solution, and who runs the actual rollout across business entities worldwide.
What you'll do:
Bring deep technical expertise in WAAP & API protection, specifically on Akamai
Work across cloud environments (Azure / AWS)
Review, validate, and challenge the existing security solution
Own the onboarding roadmap for each entity
Review, validate, and improve security policies across DDoS L7, WAF, Bot, and API protection
Raise and manage service requests or incident tickets with the vendor/provider
Document and report on incidents related to DDoS and the WAAP migration program
Run meetings with entities globally to support onboarding
Analyze logs and security data
Build KPIs and security dashboards
Collaborate closely with Cyber Defense and Architecture teams on security requests and issues

High-level and low-level design documents
Onboarding process documentation
Roadmap onboarding documentation
Acceptance test documents and results
Proof of concept / pilot results
Project management documentation (planning, reporting, logs, action/issue tracking, budget actuals vs. forecast)

What you bring:

Strong hands-on experience with WAAP solutions
WAF security mechanisms, on-premise and cloud
Proven experience working with Akamai solutions
Comfortable working in a fully English-speaking environment
