Role Summary
Provide production support and operational ownership for Oracle EPM Cloud applications across EPBCS (Planning), FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close), EPRCS (Narrative Reporting), and PCMCS (Profitability & Cost Management) . Ensure stable month/quarter/year-end operations, timely incident resolution, reliable data integrations, and continuous improvements for performance, controls, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide production support for EPBCS, FCCS, EPRCS, and PCMCS including incident triage, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution within SLAs.
Support planning cycles in EPBCS (short range forecast, long range forecast/budget/what-if): business rule run issues, forms and dashboard, workflow/support for approvals, and data validation/reconciliation.
Support close cycles (month/quarter/year-end): monitor FCCS consolidations/translations/eliminations/journals, EPRCS package publishing, and PCMCS model runs; manage escalations and stakeholder communications.
Troubleshoot and resolve data load/integration issues (Data Integration, file loads, APIs), mapping errors, validation failures, and data reconciliation breaks across all EPM modules.
Administer and support EPRCS reporting packages (doclets, reference doclets, bindings, publishing) and resolve Smart View/MS Office connectivity, refresh, and performance issues.
Support FCCS functional processes: ownership management, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, journals, close validations, and process controls.
Support PCMCS models: allocations, drivers, stages, rulesets, model execution failures, and performance optimization.
Perform security administration (user provisioning, roles, access reviews) and support audit/compliance requests (evidence collection, SOX controls alignment where applicable).
Coordinate change/release activities: patch impact assessments, regression testing, UAT support, and production deployments using standard change management practices.
Maintain operational documentation (runbooks, SOPs, batch schedules, known errors) and drive problem management for recurring issues.
Required Qualifications / Work Experience
7+ Years of experience in Hyperion, Essbase, HFM, EPBCS, FCCS, EPRCS & PCMCS.
6+ years of hands-on Oracle EPM experience in application support (L2/L3).
6+ years of EPBCS (Planning) support experience covering:
Troubleshooting business rules/calculations, runtime prompts, job failures, and performance issues
Support for planning artifacts: forms, dashboards, task lists and metadata changes
Support for forecast/budget cycles, user issues, and data validation/reconciliation
3+ years of support experience across FCCS, EPRCS (Narrative Reporting), and PCMCS (hands-on production support and issue resolution).
Strong experience troubleshooting integrations/data loads (Data Integration and/or file-based loads; APIs/automation a plus).
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g.,Jira & confluence), SLA management, and stakeholder communications during critical cycles.
Ability to provide on-call/after-hours support during planning and close windows.
Experience with EPM Automate , Groovy scripting, REST APIs, and CI/CD style deployment approaches.
Experience with EPM Cloud monthly patching, regression testing, and release management, JIRA & Release management.
Exposure to EDMCS, EDMCS integration with ERP Cloud and all other EPM modules and formal metadata governance processes.
