GCP Data Analyst

About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Validation & Migration Analyst to support a critical wholesale banking data modernization initiative involving the migration of a large-scale data mart from Teradata (On-Premises) to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Big Query. The role requires deep expertise in data validation, SQL optimization, cloud migration testing, and data analytics to ensure the successful transition of business-critical data assets.

What You'll Do:

Validate migrated data from On‑Prem RDBMS (Teradata) to GCP Big Query;
Develop and execute data validation scripts using python and SQL
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, lineage, auditability, and parity with Teradata outputs
Optimize Big Query performance for analytical workloads
Support post‑migration validation and production sign‑off.

Expertise You'll Bring:

BE/MBA/BCA/MCA or equivalent
Strong Data Analytical skills
Strong expertise in Google Big Query & SQL
Hands‑on experience with RDBMS platforms , preferably Teradata
Advanced SQL and query optimization
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning
Strong background of cloud migration projects for data validation and reconciliation
Experience in Banking domain, regulatory or financial reporting environments is nice to have.
