Manager – Logistics, Export/Import & Warehousing

* Role Overview
The Manager – Logistics, Export/Import & Warehousing will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations at Taevas, including import and export workflows, warehousing, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The role requires strong operational knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to guide and monitor team members while ensuring seamless coordination across functions.
The Manager will also play a key role in  global expansion initiatives , supporting logistics planning and operational readiness in new markets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Import Operations Oversight
Supervise and guide the logistics team in managing import shipments and customs clearance.
Review and approve import documentation (invoices, packing lists, HSN codes, COO, COA, IFU, licenses like MDEL/Form 10/COS-2).
Coordinate with CHAs, freight forwarders, and international partners to ensure timely clearance.
Ensure compliance with CDSCO, FSSAI, customs, and other regulatory requirements.
Resolve escalations related to importation timelines or documentation issues.
2. Export Operations Oversight
Oversee export documentation and compliance for all international shipments.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of export invoices, packing lists, airway bills, COO, HS code declarations, and other certificates.
Support export activities including re-exports, replacements, and return-to-origin shipments.
Ensure packaging, labeling, and traceability standards are met for global shipments.
3. Warehouse & Inventory Management
Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
Ensure implementation of FEFO, batch/serial tracking, and temperature-controlled storage where relevant.
Oversee inventory accuracy and documentation in  Odoo  or other ERP systems.
Lead stock counts, cycle counts, space optimization, and warehouse compliance initiatives.
Maintain adherence to ISO 13485, GDP, and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP).
4. Compliance, Documentation & Quality Coordination
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs across logistics, warehousing, import/export, and return processes.
Maintain audit readiness for client, regulatory, and internal QA audits.
Work with QA teams on deviations, investigations, product failure reporting, and CAPA activities.
Maintain proper documentation and record control as per regulatory standards.
5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and train warehouse and logistics team members.
Coordinate with regulatory, QA, commercial, finance, and operations teams to ensure aligned supply chain execution.
Act as a single point of escalation for operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
Build strong relationships with external partners including CHAs, 3PLs, freight agents, and packaging vendors.
6. Global Expansion Support
Contribute to Taevas’ global market expansion efforts by:
Developing logistics and warehousing frameworks for new countries
Supporting distributor or partner onboarding
Assessing import/export and storage requirements for new markets
Ensuring alignment between global compliance needs and operational capabilities
Participate in cross-country operations planning and supply chain readiness initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
10–12 years  of experience in logistics, export/import operations, and warehouse management.
Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics preferred).
Strong working knowledge of:
CDSCO import requirements & customs procedures
Export documentation and INCOTERMS
Warehouse management principles
Odoo ERP or other ERP systems (mandatory)
ISO 13485, GDP, GWP, and SOP-driven environments
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams and coordinate cross-functionally.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with multi-country supply chain or global operations is an advantage.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related fields.
Certifications in logistics, supply chain, or DG handling are desirable.
