We are seeking a seasoned Power Utility SME to provide expert guidance and support to our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the power utility industry, including generation, transmission, distribution, and regulatory frameworks. The SME will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that meet the evolving needs of power utilities.

In this Global leadership role, SME will be responsible for customer engagements across all regions and have full responsibility for achieving TCV, accelerating revenue, ensuring delivery while ensuring customer satisfaction and the growth and retention of customers. SME will develop a high-performance commercial culture and drive sustainable and profitable software growth. SME will be well versed at both the tactical and the strategic, establishing effective operating rhythms with daily management across Key Performance Indicator (KPI) levers.

SME will have exceptional business and financial acumen and be responsible for customer relationships, being a trusted advisor and partner for customers while operating as the key point of leadership in the utility domain. SME will make customer experience a priority, creating a client focused culture that is rooted in Lean principles. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

- Provide expert advice on power utility operations, including generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies.
- Analyze complex technical issues and develop solutions.
- SME will create a vision and strategy that will motivate all customer facing teams to achieve operating goals and identify opportunities across all present and future markets.
- The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of market economics, available technologies, and a competitive landscape to drive unique solutions.
- Ensure business goals for orders, revenue, margin and cash are met, in line with TCS operating rhythm.
- Own customer relationships, represent TCS solution portfolio, and develop deep ties within customer's organization to secure business across the portfolio and to ensure executive sponsorship is valued by both organizations.
- Stay current on the customer’s business, related industry trends and practices, market conditions, competitors, as well as priorities and growth initiatives, to provide valuable insights to the customer
- Own and orchestrate a holistic strategic plan for accounts and align business strategies with the customer’s goals, objectives, needs and culture.
- Develop strategies to grow a quality pipeline of opportunities across the breadth of the Grid portfolio and coordinate with the Sales and Services teams to drive and convert the pipeline into profitable orders and revenue.
- Own the delivery of projects globally to drive safety and standard delivery implementation practices. SME will also be responsible for delivery metrics such as Billable Utilization, On-Time Delivery and Customer Satisfaction.
- Act as escalation point of contact to assist, facilitate, and advocate for both TCS and the customer to help navigate each other’s Organization and to balance the value of the relationship and solve business problems through consultative approach.
- Act as a central point of contact, ensure Grid teams are aware of strategic imperatives and support issue resolution with leadership, especially in cross functional work, leveraging Voice of Customer (VOC) and external messaging.
- Leverage standard work, operational data, and metrics to monitor the health of the customer relationships, alignment with Grid priorities, and overall growth and profitability of the all regions. Bring operational rigor in forecasting and commercial & delivery processes, driving continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to enable global alliances, frameworks and partnership agreements that support deal closure to drive healthier risk and reward balance as needed

Consulting and Advisory:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations on power utility-related topics.
- Provide guidance on industry best practices and standards.

Project Management:

- Lead or participate in projects related to power utility operations, infrastructure development, and technology implementation.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, utilities, and industry associations.
- Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and workshops.
