Job Description

As an Applications Specialist, you will play a meaningful role in developing and showcasing integrated workflows that drive scientific impact and commercial success. With hands-on engagement and technical leadership, you will help build the future of our innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize end-to-end workflows for cell culture and cell analysis, cell-based assays, genome editing and cell engineering, and cell therapy applications.
Conduct live workflow demonstrations, technical workshops, and hands-on training for customers and partners.
Identify problem statement of customers and support method development, protocol optimization, and feasibility studies.
Collaborate closely with business development and product management teams to improve solution positioning and drive customer conversion.
Enable translational research collaborations and support proof-of-concept investigations, including data analysis and interpretation.
Build and deliver technical presentations, application notes, and training content.
Maintain a strong understanding of new technologies and proactively showcase cross-divisional integration opportunities.
Ensure seamless customer onboarding and post-demo engagement for accelerated workflow adoption.
Required Qualification and Experience
Master’s/Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or related life sciences field.
Extensive hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture including stem cells, gene editing, PCR/qPCR, multi-color flow cytometry and imaging, cell analysis-based workflows. Preferred familiarity with related Thermo Fisher platforms.
Proven excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers optimally.
Adaptability, and agility to work independently and in collaboration on diverse projects, with good data analysis and interpretation.
Proven experience of over 8+ years in applications, technical support, or laboratory research environments.
