Responsibilities
Handle Transactions:
Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints.
Payment Processing:
Accept payments in various forms including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets.
Receipt Management:
Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets to customers.
Balance Cash Drawer:
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure the amounts are correct and there is adequate change.
Maintain Records:
Keep accurate records of transactions and ensure all financial data is accurately recorded.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining inventory and stock levels by reporting low stock items and assisting with restocking shelves.
Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area and ensure the safety of the cash register and transaction area.
Promotional Knowledge:
Stay informed about promotions and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
Team
Collaboration:
Work effectively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Requirements
Educational
Qualification:
12th Pass or above.
Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
Customer Service Orientation: A friendly and helpful demeanor to provide excellent customer service.
Attention to Detail:
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and record-keeping.
Basic Math
Skills:
Good mathematical skills to handle transactions and balance cash drawers.
Reliability:

Computer Literacy:
Basic knowledge of operating cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
