Job Description: As a Retention Center Sales and Service Associate, you will work in a call center to retain, promote, and sell Century Link products and services to residential customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service on every call to enhance the customer experience
- Handling inbound calls from residential customers
- Achieving retention and sales goals set by the department
- Consulting with customers to assess their communication and entertainment needs and making appropriate recommendations
- Using multiple computer systems simultaneously to process sales and service orders
- Building and maintaining strong customer rapport
- Problem-solving and addressing customer concerns promptly
- Retaining customers considering disconnection or service downgrade through persuasive selling and customer service techniques within established guidelines

Position Details:
- Classification:
Regular full-time, at least 40 hours/week, indefinite - Wages/Training:
Starting at $10.50/hr with increases every 6 months; average first-year earnings approximately $40,000; training lasts about 6 weeks, M-F, 10 a.m.
- 7 p.m., attendance mandatory - Location:
1875 International Way, Idaho Falls, - Work hours:
7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Mon-Fri, with hours based on seniority; overtime may be required

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months experience in sales or customer service
- Ability to multi-task in Windows environment
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success in commissioned sales
- Experience in call centers and achieving measurable quotas
- Background in internet, cellular, or satellite technology
