Position Details:
Patient Population: Pediatric
Setting: 6-bed Pediatric ICU within Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center
Responsibilities: Admissions and patient management, family and referring physician consultations
Required Procedures: Pediatric critical care management (no cardiac surgery or transplant cases)
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Dedicated nursing staff, Child Life Specialist, Pediatric Nutritionist, pediatric pharmacists, physical therapists, and subspecialists including neurology, cardiology, endocrinology, hem/onc, surgery, anesthesia, ENT
Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
On-Call/Weekends: Shared within 2-physician team; supported by telemedicine PICU providers
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified in Pediatrics Required
Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Required
(or willing to obtain) Required
Visa requirement status (J1/H1B) must be disclosed Required
