We are seeking a Locums Pediatric Surgery Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage in Idaho Falls,Idaho. This opportunity offers a manageable patient volume and the chance towork within a supportive hospital environment using an established EMR system.
Position Details
- Coverage Type: 24-hour call
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based pediatric surgery coverage
- Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patients per day
- EMR: Meditech
Responsibilities
- Provide on-call pediatric surgical coverage, including evaluation, management, and operative care as needed
- Respond to emergent and urgent pediatric surgical consults
- Perform inpatient rounding and necessary procedures
- Collaborate with emergency department staff, anesthesia, nursing, and hospital teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Meditech
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery
- Active Idaho medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Ability to provide independent on-call coverage
