Adjunct, Math and Science

Job Summary

Adjunct pool applications are reviewed on an as-needed basis. Adjuncts are paid starting at $900 per credit hour.

Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content area, both technical and general education and other related activities.

• Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content areas and developing related instructional materials (such as syllabus, lectures, course materials, evaluation tools, classroom activities, and others)
• Maintains consistent Office Hours
• Attends in-service meetings each semester
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• Master's degree in core subject area
• Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI doesn’t sponsor H-1B Visas)

• Bilingual (Spanish)

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.

On-site work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required.

Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225:
