- Coordinate with Operations on plant conditions, equipment availability, isolations, and work authorization. Route proposed work for required safety basis and change reviews.
- Confirm that approved drawings, procedures, parts, material certifications, special processes, and inspection requirements are available before work is scheduled.
- Support work prioritization and scheduling; identify resource needs, long‑lead materials, and dependencies that affect execution.
- Support field questions and route changes through the approved process. Reconcile completed packages, test results, equipment history, and configuration records.
- Help improve work management procedures, reusable job plans, and computerized maintenance management system records. Incorporate craft feedback and lessons learned.
- At least five years of relevant maintenance, operations, or technical experience, including at least two years developing or substantially supporting nuclear work packages.
- Experience at a commercial nuclear plant, DOE nuclear facility, naval nuclear program, or comparable nuclear installation.
- Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical procedures and translate them into executable field instructions.
- Working knowledge of nuclear work controls, energy isolation, configuration management, quality requirements, and post‑maintenance testing.
- Ability to coordinate technical reviews, resolve incomplete information, and maintain accurate records in electronic work management systems.
- Clear technical writing, sound judgment, and a willingness to challenge work that is incomplete or cannot be performed as written.
