The ideal location for this position is Lenexa, KS. Management will consider other supporting locations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize 3D design software such as Smart Plant 3D, Bentley Open Plant, AutoCAD Plant 3D (or other 3D design software) to create 3D equipment models based off equipment drawings and provide technical guidance to lower-level designers/drafters to ensure work is completed accurately and to our standards.
• Design piping systems and generate isometric drawings for systems typical industrial facilities and power generation facilities, but not limited to, process steam, process water, drains, and general plant/facility water, compressed air, and gas systems, condensate, blowdown, circulating water, cooling and chilled water, and underground piping utilities.
• Perform early project design work related to facility layout and equipment general arrangement.
• Develop, monitor and check design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
