Performs safe, timely, and accurate procedures including invasive procedures and Ultrasound scans for diagnostic, therapeutic, and operative purposes.

Benefits are based on eligibility according to employment status.

• Perform sonographic procedures independently within policies and procedures.
• Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures like amniocenteses, biopsies, cyst aspirations, and line placements.
• Document patient information accurately for interpretation and care.
• Assess and ensure the technical quality of sonograms, perform retakes as needed.
• Support emergent patients and share call responsibilities.
• Provide information to staff and patients about sonographic procedures and principles.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and work with vendors.
• Maintain flexibility and accept additional responsibilities as needed.
• Demonstrate competency across age groups: neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
• Act professionally at all times, respecting patient confidentiality and rights.

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or ARRT (S), CPR Certified.
• Preferred 2+ registries in OB, abdominal, neuro, or vascular sonography.
