Job SummaryThe Radiologic Technologist is responsible for the daily organization of activities in the department. The role involves performing radiographic procedures on various equipment, assisting Radiologists, maintaining records, and effective communication to ensure a good work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities- Interview patients and analyze their condition to apply appropriate radiographic procedures.
- Operate complex electronic equipment for radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, including portable and surgical C-Arms.
- Assess the quality of radiographs and perform repeats if necessary.
- Ensure safety standards to protect patients and staff.
- Perform additional activities such as taking call, stocking supplies, preparing equipment, assisting with exams, accessing images, and communicating results.
- Document patient information accurately.
- Assist Radiologists with contrast administration.
- Provide information to staff and patients regarding procedures and safety.
- Be flexible and accept additional responsibilities as needed.
- Demonstrate age-specific competency for all patient groups.
- Maintain professionalism in all situations.

QualificationsMust hold or obtain current licensure as an RT(R) with ARRT or equivalent, and current BLS certification.
