The Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech
, performs high quality cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures that require ingenuity, initiative and independent judgment. Must be capable of following department policies, procedure and protocol to provide quality patient care.

Education: High school diploma
Current ARDMS (American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) Credentials In
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
Or
Current CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) Credentials In
- RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer)
- Must hold or obtain current BLS
Experience: 6 months as Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist in Hospital or Cardiologist office, or Ultrasound School New Graduate with 3 months Hospital Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound experience under the supervision of an experienced Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer.
