We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a part-time role in an Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine clinic, with potential for full-time employment.
Responsibilities- Assisting patients to exam rooms, taking medical histories, recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and supporting physicians during procedures.
- Ensuring treatment plans are followed, managing prescription refills, completing medication reconciliation, stocking medical supplies, and performing administrative tasks such as phone communication with patients.
- Working under physician supervision and adhering to medical standards of care are essential.
High school diploma or equivalent, AAMA certification, and preferred two years healthcare experience.
Proficiency with office equipment, data entry, typing, and filing is required.
Physical & Work EnvironmentRegular attendance, standing most of the shift, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and effective communication skills.
The role operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment, with potential travel between multiple locations.
