Senior Project Manager

Boise, Idaho (Hybrid)

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client in Boise, Idaho to lead complex healthcare technology initiatives focused on Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modernization and implementation. This role will oversee project planning, execution, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, system migration, and change management activities to ensure successful delivery of large-scale enterprise projects.

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of MMIS modules and related healthcare technology initiatives.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across multiple vendors, project teams, business units, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
• Oversee legacy system migration, data conversion, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and support data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
• Provide project status updates and executive-level reporting to key stakeholders.
• Drive organizational change management, training coordination, and user adoption efforts.
• Ensure project objectives are achieved while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale technology or healthcare-related projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading change management, training, and communication initiatives.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with legacy system modernization, migration, and data conversion projects.
• Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within scope.

• Experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or healthcare technology platforms.
• Experience working with government agencies or public sector organizations.
• Background managing multi-vendor environments and enterprise system implementations.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, reporting, analytics, and healthcare data ecosystems.
• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
