Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Sr. Manager Benefits, Tax & Treasury Accounting to work on our Business Management team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our EROB Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.
This position requires strong accounting, tax knowledge, pension and 401K skills.

- Manage the activities of a department or a discipline through subordinate supervisors and/or professionals.
- Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
- Responsible for the effective operation of activities of major significance to the organization. Decisions impact others in the immediate team and influence methods and techniques.
- Execute financials, business planning, organizational priorities, and workforce planning. Ensure that budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained.
- Typically manage employees who perform similar tasks. May manage supervisors, exempt, and non‑exempt staff.
- Receive objective‑based assignments and determine resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Responsible for single function, location, and/or technical discipline.
- Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect department or multiple disciplines.
- Participate in the development of overall objectives and long‑term goals of the department and possibly the division.
- Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group professionals, involving matters between sections and multiple units.
- Partner with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other external stakeholders.
- Communicate and present results and recommendations across disciplines.
- Third level of management with resources and robust HR responsibilities. All work is performed through the management of others.
- Position typically reports to a direct report of a Director, Sr. Director, or Senior Leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience with 2 years of leadership experience.
Job Information- The target pay range for this position is ($125,531-$192,282) annually. The full pay range is ($107,844-$274spring) ($274,980). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre‑employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires operation of job‑related equipment and driving a vehicle. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
