Fulfillment Specialist

As a Fulfillment Specialist at Riverbend Meats, you will play a key role in preparing and packaging customer orders in our temperature-controlled fulfillment department (maintained at approximately 40°F). You will be responsible for accurately picking and inspecting frozen products, assembling orders into boxes, and preparing them for shipment with care and attention to detail. Fulfillment Specialists must adhere to food safety and quality standards, maintain organization, and be efficient while working in a cold environment.

Starting wage is $16.50 with a 60-day review increase based on performance.

Applicants should be willing or capable of performing the following tasks in the fulfillment area:

• Work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 40°F) for extended periods
• Accurately read and interpret customer orders
• Pick and visually inspect frozen product for quality and damages
• Organize and pack product in shipping boxes
• Assist in filling boxes with kraft paper for protection and presentation
• Use tape machines and strapping tools to securely close boxes
• Work with dry ice during designated days (PPE provided)
• Build and prepare boxes for upcoming orders
• Help load boxes onto pallets or into trailers as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
• Follow safety procedures when handling dry ice and packing materials

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for 8–10 hours per day
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
• Must be team-oriented, dependable, and willing to help others as needed
• Ability to maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Working in cold (refrigerated) conditions
• Use of gloves and personal protective equipment when working with dry ice
