Sets‑up and operates machinery used for filling products into tubes and bottles.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Hooks up vats or tanks.
  • Prepares filling lines by adjusting table height, fill levels, heat settings, nozzle height, and by collecting totes, drafting paperwork, and adjusting capper and sealer rails.
  • Cleans Video Jet head, checks placement of labels, stamps, and rails.
  • Operates tuber or filling lines while maintaining quality standards—manually or automatically—by checking fill levels, batch codes, boxing product, placing pallets, scraping vats, filling hoppers with buckets, and labeling.
  • Completes reports and labels with product name, quantity, personnel names, date, shift, etc.
  • Assists in training associates by demonstrating proper procedures and answering questions.
  • Performs daily equipment maintenance such as mopping and cleaning.
  • Inspects and maintains product quality according to requirements.
  • Enters data into computer system as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Disassembles machines for clean‑up (e.g., valve body, hopper, injector, valve piston), sprays and washes equipment, sweeps and mops floors, and cleans nozzles, pumps, and overhead pipes.
  • Ensures efficient change‑over and works with maintenance.
  • Maintains overall cleanliness of machine and floor.
  • Fills out daily shift check‑off list.
  • Completes cleaning logs between jobs.
  • Ensures components are used in lot sequence.
Supervision of Others
  • Directs assigned line associates on the filling line as needed.
Essential Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Can lift a minimum of 65 lbs. consistently for eight hours.
  • Can pull, stretch, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment.
  • Can read, write, and perform basic math for reports and labels.
  • Has manual dexterity for spraying, sweeping, mopping, and toting.
  • Can stand, sit, or walk throughout the shift.
  • Can visually read bottles, product, invoices, and perform inspections.
  • Can organize and coordinate projects and people.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Can perform essential duties with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Basic computer and typing skills preferred.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to operate a high‑pressure hose.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Can climb stairs.
