Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead a team of dedicated veterinary assistants and technicians during shifts.

Build strong client rapport, empathizing with their concerns and communicating effectively.

Conduct examinations, create treatment plans, and communicate financial expectations with clients.

Oversee outpatient and emergency case care, performing emergency procedures and surgery.

Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications &

Experience:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to handle the physical and emotional aspects of veterinary clinic work.

Active listening, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.

Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Availability for overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts within a rotating schedule.

Education & Licensure:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.

Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Idaho.
