Dining Room Server – Senior Living Community (FT)
Morning Star Senior Living is looking for a Dining Room Server to join our senior living community. The role is non‑exempt, full time and offers a pay rate of $13.00 per hour. Schedule will be discussed during the interview.
Job Summary: Provide high‑quality meal service and create a gracious dining environment. Responsibilities include accurate order taking, relaying orders to kitchen staff, and delivering exceptional customer service to our cherished residents.

- Be present in the dining room for full meal service.
- Assist with special functions as scheduled.
- Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary, infection‑free environment at all times.
- Oversight of bistro areas – food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, and popcorn preparation.
- Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
- Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes, and dislikes.
- Serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Committee as directed.
- Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
- Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.

Previous experience in a dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred, but not required. - Job knowledge:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. - Standards:
Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection control, health department, and OSHA. - Team members scheduled to work 24 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits; families of such team members will also be eligible.
