As Business Development Associate, you are a key team member promoting our business and brand. You are responsible for proactively generating sales and cultivating customer relationships. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

The Business Development Associate is responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential Rainbow Restoration customers within the assigned area of responsibility. Primary responsibilities include inside and outside sales activities such as networking, lead generation, social media, and participation in trade associations.

• The expectation of this position is that time and effort will be dedicated to the region of responsibility.
• Nurtures and expands existing business relationships to increase lead generation and average job size.
• Locates, presents to and sells Rainbow Restoration to new and prospects.
• Works with a defined target list managed through the Rainbow Restoration system.
• Maintains membership involvement in targeted association and achieves significant committee and/or leadership positions.
• Supports all Rainbow Restoration Sales efforts by following up on leads.
• Prepares and presents sales proposals.
• Meet sales activity thresholds through client and prospect meetings, events, phone, social media, email, etc.
• Documents and tracks leads and business development activities in Luxor.
• Achieve yearly individual sales goals.

• Works with leadership to plan association involvement levels and budgets.
• Participates in and represents Rainbow Restoration in events such as golf tournaments, city functions, etc.
• Plans, organizes and participates in tradeshow and other marketing functions, including golf tournaments, charitable events, other networking and social activities, some of which are after normal business hours.

• Become and remain proficient in our services and the associated terminology.
• Adheres to company employment standards and Code of Values.
• Provides the highest level of internal and external customer service at all times.
• Contributes positively to the Rainbow Restoration culture and community.

• Required 3+ years of outside sales experience. Restoration industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to attend networking functions, some will be in the evening after business hours.
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills and computer knowledge.
• Experience inputting and tracking sales-related data.
• Valid driver's license.
• An outgoing, driven, tenacious, team-oriented, positive attitude is a must!
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and arms, talk and hear.

Travel is primarily local 85% of the time. Some out of area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
