Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $70,000–$150,000 annually (installer leads are paid piece rate). Base pay is based on several factors.
PurposeRenewal by Andersen is looking for accomplished, driven, and motivated Lead Installers to help perfect our customer’s experience in upgrading their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead window and door installation on a single job site.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the installation.
- Plan for materials and resources before arrival.
- Confirm measurements prior to commencing work.
- Perform routine to complex window or door installations.
- Shut down the work site correctly after completion.
- Provide direction and training to an installer according to company guidelines.
- Variations in wall materials and thickness.
- Different types of casings or sill constructions.
- Changes from house settling.
- Unforeseen structural damage.
- Take time to get to know homeowners.
- Explain daily procedures to homeowners.
- Answer questions and provide support.
- Ask homeowners for online reviews upon job completion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of window installation and remodeling experience (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years managing job sites and leading crews in construction.
- Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other installers.
- Proven track record of superior workmanship.
- Scheduled availability to work when homeowners are available (7 a.m.–7 p.m.).
- Ability to lift up to 83 pounds.
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills with peers and homeowners.
- Ability to handle confrontation/conflict tactfully and diplomatically.
- Ability to organize tasks and job requirements.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment.
- Empathy and customer service skills.
- Strong sense of accountability and teamwork.

Andersen has set a profit‑sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
