Weatherization Crew Member

Do you enjoy hands‑on work and being part of a solid team? Are you looking for a job where what you do truly matters? EICAP (Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership) is hiring a Weatherization Crew Member to help make homes safer, warmer, and more energy‑efficient for families in our community.

In this role, you’ll work with a great crew installing insulation, sealing air leaks, and completing energy‑saving upgrades in homes throughout the area. Construction or related experience is helpful, but not required - we’re happy to train someone who’s motivated and ready to learn. What matters most is that you’re dependable, easy to work with, and willing to roll up your sleeves.

One of the best perks? Our crew works a four‑day schedule (Monday‑Thursday, 10‑hour shifts) - so you get a three‑day weekend every week. Some overnight travel to the Salmon and Challis areas may be required, and EICAP covers all travel costs.

The starting wage is $17.87 per hour (DOE), along with a strong benefits package. EICAP offers a 403(b) retirement plan with a 6% employer match. Employees share in the cost of health insurance (including dependent coverage), with EICAP covering the remaining portion of premiums. We also offer an employer‑funded HRA to help with medical deductible expenses and employee‑funded FSA and Dependent Care FSA options.

EICAP pays 60% of dental and vision premiums and provides life insurance and short‑term disability at no cost to employees.
