Maintenance Technician

Do you like fixing things, solving problems, and staying busy with hands‑on work? EICAP (Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership) is looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our Head Start, Early Head Start, and other facilities safe, functional, and well maintained.

Pay: $17.42 – $17.87 per hour, depending on experience

• General repairs such as plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, windows, and doors
• Preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and safety issues
• Occasional yard and exterior maintenance
• Backup support for deliveries, warehouse, and receiving as needed
• Using email and an electronic work order system to track and complete tasks

• Experience with general maintenance and troubleshooting
• A strong understanding of safety practices
• Basic computer skills, including email and work order systems
• The ability to manage your time and handle a variety of tasks
• A high school diploma or GED
