Personal Carer

Join Uniting Care Queensland as a Personal Carer at the Mackay Homefield Aged Care Facility.

The role is available on a permanent part-time basis, with shifts including mornings (6am - 2:30pm), afternoons (2pm - 10:30pm), and nights (10pm - 6:30am), including every second weekend.

Remuneration: $35.86 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts.

About The Role

As a Personal Carer, you will provide care to clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times, and general mobility.
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan.
• Supporting with community-based recreational and social activities.

Role Requirements

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
