Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic educators for a position as an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistants to join the team at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Mackay. These are casual positions commencing as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful applicant with opportunities during term-time and vacation care.

The ideal applicant will hold a one or two-year qualified ACECQA approved qualification.

As an Outside School Hours Care Assistant you will play a vital role in providing an engaging experience for children during before school, after school and vacation care periods. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assist with the delivery of quality education programs underpinned by My Time, Our Place Framework
• Provide direct supervision and support to all children to participate in the program
• Contribute to creating an inviting and safe environment which supports children in their wellbeing and learning.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the areas utilised by Outside School Hours Care students and staff are maintained.
• Develop awareness of and ensuring the health and safety of the students in your care, including appropriately supervising children at all times.
