Responsibilities

Developing cutting‑edge decision support tools and data management solutions tailored to the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Utilize advanced mathematical modeling techniques to optimize capital expenditures (Cap Ex) required for meeting semiconductor manufacturing requirements. Develop models to solve complex problems involving millions of variables to determine the necessary advanced technology tools at minimum cost. Create cutting‑edge decision support tools and data management solutions tailored to the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

Identify and implement technical solutions for complex data management and decision automation problems, including multi‑echelon supply chain design and dynamic production planning. Work with engineers and multi‑disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that support data analysis of strategy options and technology changes in advanced fabrication facilities. Develop deep business acumen and customer orientation to identify and address emerging business problems with unique solutions.

Contribute to technical sharing, teamwork, coaching, and mentoring among team members to drive exceptional results and develop personal, team, and organizational capabilities. Gather requirements, develop highly customized models, and create prototypes that support business needs and ensure rapid adoption. Utilize project management methodologies to run projects from initiation and planning to deployment.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Operations Research Analyst‑related occupation.

Qualifications
  • Ability to develop advanced mathematical models of product flow and tool capacity, including non‑linear, mixed‑integer, and stochastic programming solutions.
  • Systems thinking skills to identify and address the most critical problems after observing complex planning operations.
  • Data Science concepts, including predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Data Visualization skills with Tableau, Power BI, and custom visualization software to interpret and present complex data analysis results.
  • Statistical concepts and methodologies to translate data into actionable insights for capacity modeling and product planning.
  • Project Management experience with Agile, Scrum, and Lean, to manage projects from initiation and planning to deployment.
  • Software programming languages (Python, SQL), relational database design, and optimization software like IBM CPLEX or Gurobi, with experience in developing custom algorithms and solutions.
